Since it's inception in 1975, Sunrise Cinemas (known as Dreier Theatres until 1999) has become the leading presenter of independent, foreign, fine art and first-run movies. Reaching north into Boca Raton and as far south as North Miami Beach, Sunrise Cinemas serves moviegoers with 58 screens at seven convenient locations providing a variety of features to suit your desires.

Unique among local movie venues, Sunrise Cinemas plays host to all major, locally produced film festivals, including The Miami Jewish Film Festival, France Cinema Floride, The Israel Film Festival and The Fort Lauderdale Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
